Canada’s Latest Express Entry Draw Results August 15, 2023

These are the outcomes of the latest Express Entry draw held by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on August 15, 2023 in Canada.

The IRCC granted over 4,300 Express Entry candidates with Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in a draw that encompasses all programs. The selection invites qualified individuals who scored at least 496 on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

The following synopsis provides an overview of all Express Entry draw outcomes since June 27.  Moreover it is the date of the last all-program draw conducted by IRCC before the first category-based Express Entry draw on June 28, 2023.

August 1st to 3rd

Before this round of invitations, the most recent Express Entry draw occurred on August 3rd. In this draw, the IRCC granted 1,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates with work experience in the trades. The required CRS score for this selection round stood at 388 as a minimum score.

On August 2nd, the IRCC conducted a selection process where candidates with proficiency in the French language were given preference. In this recent selection, 800 individuals were issued ITAs if they achieved a minimum CRS score of 435. This marked the initial categorization-based draw for individuals who speak French since July 12th, 2023.

On August 1st, the RCC conducted a selection process for the Express Entry system.  Likewise it includes three programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class. The department invited 2,000 individuals with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 517 to participate.

July 12

On July 12, the IRCC extended an invitation to 3,800 individuals who had a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 375 to submit their applications for permanent residency (PR) in Canada. This event was a draw based on categories in the French language.

July 11

The IRCC organized a draw on July 11 for all programs, granting 800 ITAs to Canadian immigration candidates with a minimum CRS score of 505. These individuals are now eligible to apply for permanent residency in Canada. This draw included applicants from all three programs within the Express Entry application management system, increasing their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
