My parents landed in Canada recently as refugees, and they are a PR now. They are both seniors above 65 and disabled. What kind of benefits they may be entitled to?

If they own anything valuable, they usually have to sell or use up almost everything before they can get help. If they came on their visitor visa, they must have had some things they owned to prove they could afford to live here. In 10 years, they will be able to receive money from OAS and maybe GIS. You may need to help them financially because the help they receive from the government may not be enough to cover their living expenses, especially in big cities.
